What is National Night Out?
National Night Out is an annual free event that takes place in communities all across America. The Blue Springs Police Department's National Night Out is celebrated on the first Tuesday in October. The event raises community awareness and informs citizens on ways we can all work together to fight crime in our community.
We invite you and your family to join us Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 5:30-8 p.m. in Downtown Blue Springs for our annual National Night Out Against Crime event!
This FREE event educates children and adults about crime prevention, general public safety and the danger of drugs and includes free food, games and prizes.
Vendors may distribute information, promotional materials and giveaways; however, the sale of products, services, food or merchandise is not permitted.
How Can I Get Involved?
Here are some of the ways you can help us create this year's event in Blue Springs:
- Donate an item/items to be raffled at the NNO main event in downtown Blue Springs
- Make a monetary donation to help purchase NNO promotional items
- Host an information booth at the NNO main event (no booth costs)
