The City of Blue Springs Code Enforcement team works to help keep our community safe, clean, and well-maintained by enforcing City codes and ordinances.
Code Enforcement responds to concerns involving:
- Property maintenance
- High weeds and grass
- Nuisances
- Unsafe or deteriorated structures
- Other property-related code violations
Staff inspect properties, communicate with property owners, explain code requirements, and work with property owners to correct violations. Whenever possible, the City focuses on voluntary compliance and giving property owners an opportunity to address concerns before additional enforcement action is taken.
For questions, contact the Codes Administration Division at 816-220-4565.
