The Public Works Department is the foundation of the City. The department effectively and efficiently develops and maintains Blue Springs’ infrastructure by providing essential services in the areas of:

The Public Works Operations Division is responsible for maintaining all City streets, traffic signs and signals, right-of-ways, stormwater drainage, water and sewer services, water meter reading and fleet maintenance.
