The City Attorney consults with, provides legal services to and advises: the Mayor, City Council, City Administrator, all City departments, and all City boards, commissions and committees. The City Attorney also drafts ordinances, resolutions, contracts, deeds, leases, advisory opinions and other legal instruments. They also process claims against the City and represent the City of Blue Springs and its employees before state and federal judicial and administrative agencies in civil litigation proceedings.
